The Winchester District Memorial Hospital takes your care and your safety very seriously, and we are committed to transparency. On a monthly basis, beginning in December 2008, we will be reporting our Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci infection rates on our website.

The Infection Prevention and Control program is dedicated to ensure preventative practices are in place to reduce the incidence of infections with measures such as surveillance, hand hygiene, environmental cleaning and screening.
